Ingredients: Contains lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, which relieves pain and discomfort and allantoin, which helps healing.
Each suppository contains: Allantoin 10.25mg and Lidocaine Hydrochloride 10.25mg. They also contain colloidal silicon dioxide, witepsol W35 and purified water.
Directions for use: Wash hands before and after use. If necessary empty the bowels before use. Remove the protective film and insert the suppository as deep as possible into the rectum.
Adults and the elderly: One suppository should be inserted night and morning after each bowel movement . Do not use for more than 7 days unless advised by your doctor. Not suitable for use in children.
Do not use if sensitive to any ingredient.
If symptoms persist for more than 7 days talk to your doctor. If you have persistent pain, bleeding, a swollen stomach or weight loss or if you are pregnant, talk to your doctor before first use.
Do not swallow. If accidentially swallowed see a doctor as soon as possible.
Side Effects: Allergic reactions may occur and occasionally diarrhoea. If you notice these or any other effects, stop use and tell your doctor or pharmacist.
