Drontal Cat Tablets
For the treatment of roundworms and tapeworms in cats.
Each tablet contains 20mg praziquantel and 230mg pyrantel embonate, as active substances.
Worms controlled include Ascarids and Tapeworms.
Give 1 tablet per 4kg(9lbs) bodyweight. The coated tablets should be given directly but if necessary can be disguised in food. The tablets are scored into halves to enable a range of weights to be treated.
Contra-indications, warnings etc
Not intended for use in kittens less than 6 weeks of age.
Do not use during pregnancy.
Do not use simultaneously with piperazine compounds
In the interests of good hygiene, persons adminstering the tablets directly to the cat, or by adding them to the cat's food, should wash their hands afterwards.
For animal treatment only.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not remove tablets from strip packing until required for use. Any part-used tablets should be discarded. Do not use after expiry date. Do not store above 25oC.
Disposal; Dispose of any empty packaging and any remaining product in household refuse.
