IMODIUM CAPSULES loperamide 2mg - 18 Capsules for £6.50
IMODIUM - fast, effective RELIEF from diarrhoea
IMODIUM works by helping restore your body's digestive rhythm to normal.
IMODIUM controls diarrhoea by giving your body more time to absorb water and nutrients,
so you can get back to your regular self. This helps relieve the diarrhea, reduce
the disruption to your life and shorten the bout.
The worst thing about diarrhoea is that it can strike at any time, bringing worry
and often complicating even the most simple of activities. It is an incredibly
common complaint with almost one third of the UK adult population suffering at
one time or another. However, there is no reason to let diarrhoea stop you enjoying
your daily activities.
When the intestines function normally, food and fluids pass from the stomach
into the small intestine and then into the colon. Cells that line the small intestine
absorb the nutrients and water the body needs. Sometimes the cells become irritated
and cannot properly absorb the water and nutrients from the food. When this happens,
food and fluids can move through the colon too quickly. This results in what we
know as diarrhea.
