Imodium Instant Melts.
Imodium Instant Melts can provide fast and convenient relief from diarrhoea. It works by slowing down your bowel and returning it to it's natural rhythm. This helps to restore the absorption of more fluids into your body. Just place the tablet on your tongue and it dissolves instantly so you don't need water to help you swallow it.
Ingredients- Each tablet contains 2mg loperamide hydrochloride and also contains aspartame.
Dosage:
Sudden short-lived (acute) diarrhoea.
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 2 tablets initially, followed if required, by 1 tablet after every further loose bowel movement, up to a maximum of 8 tablets per day.
If you diarrhoea lasts for more than 24 hours, onsult your doctor.
Diarrhoea episodes associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS):
If you doctor has diagnosed IBS, take 2 tablets to control an episode of diarrhoea. Further episodes may be controlled by taking 1 or 2 tablets according to severity, up to a maximum of 8 tablets per day.
If you symptoms change or if your acute symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, consult your doctor.
Not recommended for children under 12 years.
Imodium Instant Melts are for the symptomatic relief of diarrhoea only and are not a substitute for rehydration therapy.
