Lacri-Lube (Ocular Lubricant) Preservative Free Eye Ointment Soothes and Moisturises Dry Eyes
Lacri-Lube ocular lubricant for dry eye conditions is an eye ointment containing medicinal liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin and wool alcohols. It is used to lubricate and protect the outer surface of the eye without inducing tear production. It can also be used after surgery.
Lacri-Lube eye ointment contains white soft paraffin 57.3%w/w, mineral oil 42.5%w/w and lanolin alcohols 0.2%w/w, and is used to lubricate and protect the eye in certain eye conditions, or during or after surgery
This formulation is particularly useful at night as it remains in the eye longer than drops.
Do not use if allergic to lanolin alcohols.
Dosage: Pull lower lid down and apply small amount of ointment to affected areas as needed or as directed by physician.
