PARAMOL combines Dihydrocodeine with the tried and tested pain relief of paracetamol, giving you a powerful way to fight pain
For the treatment of:
- Headache
- Migraine
- Feverish conditions
- Period pains
- Toothache and other dental pain
- Backache and other muscular aches and pains
- Easy to swallow
What are the active ingredients?
Each tablet contains Paracetamol 500mg Dihydrocodeine Tartrate 7.46mg as the active substances
Product also contains the inactive ingredients: Magnesium stearate, povidone, maize starch, hypromellose, titanium dioxide and macrogol 400.
Paramol Tablets should not be taken:-
- If you are sensitive to any of the ingredients listed in this leaflet
- If you have asthma or breathing difficulties
- During pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding
Paramol Tablets should not be given to children under 12 years of age
Caution should be observed when increasing the dose for the elderly.
Paramol Tablets may cause dizziness, if affected do not drive or operate machinery.
Alcoholic drinks should be avoided whilst taking Paramol Tablets.
Dosage:-
Adults and Children 12 years and over: Take one or two tablets every four to six hours.
Do not take more than eight tablets in any 24 hour period
The elderly: Caution should be observed when increasing the dose in the elderly.
If symptoms persist consult your doctor
Paramol Tablets should be taken during or after meals
Do not exceed the stated dose
