 DIRECTIONS

1. For best results, hair should be between 2 to 5 mm long. If hair is longer than 10 mm, it is strongly recommended to trim with scissors or hair clippers to avoid discomfort and damage to the skin when waxing.

2. If you have not waxed before we recommend to start by removing hair from the legs. Only when you have experience then progress to the more sensitive areas of back and underarm. On these we recommend not to wax the same area of skin twice during a waxing session.

3. Make sure your skin is clean, dry, not irritated and free of creams and oils.

4. The wax strips should not come into contact with water as they become ineffective.

HOW TO PREPARE THE WAX STRIP

1. If using on a small area of the body, cut strips to size.
2. Warm the wax slightly to body temperature by rubbing a strip between your fingers for 30 seconds. If the wax is too hard, then rub the strip for 1 minute.
3. Slowly peel the strips apart.

APPLICATION / REMOVAL

1. It is important to remove the strip in one quick movement keeping it as close as possible to the skin. Failure to do so might be painful, and waxing will be less effective
2. Apply one of the wax strips onto the skin and smooth firmly with your hands for 10 seconds in the direction of hair growth (depending on the body part, please refer to the appropriate section).
3. Immediately, hold the skin taut with one hand and with the other hand, grip the bottom of the strip. In one swift and decisive movement, remove the strip against the direction of hair growth (ankle to knee). Never lift the strip upwards, but keep it as close to the skin as possible
4. The same strip can be used several times. Repeat hair removal as necessary.

HOW TO USE ON EACH BODY PART

We strongly recommend that someone assists you when removing hair from areas which are hard to reach such as the back.

Legs:

Smooth the strip firmly from knee to ankle and remove it in the opposite direction, holding the skin taut.

Back: (seek assistance if needed)

Identify the direction of hair growth (it may change on different areas of the back). Smooth the strip firmly in the direction of the hair growth and immediately remove it in the opposite direction, holding the skin taut.

Arms:

Again identify the direction of hair growth. Smooth the strip firmly in the direction of the hair growth and immediately remove it in the opposite direction, holding the skin taut.

Underams: (experienced waxers)

Trim hair if longer than 10mm. To reduce any excess moisture, we strongly recommend applying talcum powder before waxing. Cut the strip in half across the width. Underarm hair tends to grow in 2 different directions, so requires removing in 2 stages. Lift the elbow up and well back for the skin to be taut. For the upper part of the underarm, smooth firmly a strip in the direction of the hair growth (towards the elbow). Holding the skin taut, swiftly remove the strip downwards, in the opposite direction. For the lower part of the underarm, repeat the process in the opposite direction.  

AFTER WAXING

1. To lift any remaining traces of wax left on the skin, dab them with the back of a used strip.
2. Once all hair has been removed, gently wipe the skin with the perfect finish wipes to remove any remaining wax residues.
3. Never use water, soap or alcohol to wipe away any traces of wax. If needed, use cotton wool impregnated with oil.
4. It is normal that your skin turns red after waxing .
5. If you experience discomfort, burning sensation or bruising, apply a cold compress to the skin. Symptoms should disappear within 24 hours. If not, seek medical advice.
6. Do not scratch skin after hair removal as this may cause skin irritation.
7. After waxing we recommend waiting 24 hours before using antiperspirant, a perfumed product or sunbathing

PRECAUTIONS

• SUITABLE for the back, arms, legs, underarms.
• NOT SUITABLE for the chest, head, face, eyes, nose, ears or around the anus, genitals and nipples.
• Before use, TEST YOUR SKIN REACTION by applying the wax to a small part of the area you wish to treat, following the directions for use. If after 24 HOURS there is no adverse reaction, continue to use .
• Check with your physician before using if you are on any medication, which can affect the skin, or if you suffer from any skin related disorder.
• Waxing is not suitable for the elderly or diabetics.
• Do not use on varicose veins, moles, broken, irritated, sunburnt skin or on skin which has suffered an adverse reaction to waxes in the past.
• Do not swallow. In case of ingestion, consult a doctor immediately and show the outer pack.
• Keep out of reach of children.
