YEAR INTRODUCED - 1873 - Yardley's English Lavender is a reference to the perfumery world. It is a clean and refreshing fragrance from London's most recognized bath and body product manufacturer.

This Brilliantine is a traditional pomade that holds, helps shape and adds shine to hair.The original English Lavender Brilliantine by Yardley. Made to the same formula and packaged in the same beautiful green glass jar as always.

FRAGRANCE NOTES - Lavender, Bergamot, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Clary Sage, Cedarwood, Tonka, Moss, Musk.

Yardley English Brilliantine was invented at the turn of the 20th century by French perfumer Ed. Pinaud. He called it Brillantine and presented it to the world at the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris. It consisted of a perfumed oily liquid, uses are for softening hair, including beards and moustaches to give a well groomed, glossy appearance. Yardley Brilliantine comes well presented in a glass jar with a metal screw cap. An ideal addition for the well groomed gentleman.
